Those gamers who are interested in trying out Lucas Arts and Bioware’s new MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic will be able to do so sooner than expected.
Registrations for the BETA test of the game have recently opened although limited spaces are available. Lucas Arts advises all interested players to sign up now in order to have “the best possible chance of getting selected.”
To sign up gamers must be registered members of the Star Wars: The Old Republic online community. If you are not a member you can go here to register. If you are already registered then you can sign up at the gaming portal, just be sure to select the box asking if you interested in becoming a tester.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is Bioware’s first attempt at developing an MMORPG. The company is famed for its development of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, which is due in early 2010.
The game will feature four classes, namely the Bounty Hunter and the Sith Warrior for the Sith Empire and the Trooper and Smuggler for the Galactic Republic.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has no official release date as yet.
