Stephen Cloete, also referred to as ‘Ph4ntom’, has elected to pass on a trip to Dreamhack in Sweden to one Travis ‘Shashe’ Weedon.
Cloete finished in third place at the Arena 77 Quake 3 Dreamhack Qualifier during the rAge exhibition recently. First and second places were taken by international pro gamers from team Fnatic, who graciously passed the ticket onto the Cloete as he was the first SA finisher.
Although Cloete has not given a reason for his decision not to attend he added that Weedon, who finished fourth, is a training partner of his and feels that Dreamhack would be the ideal platform for him to prove himself.
