iGame Intel Annihilation League

Leg two of the iGame Intel Annihilation League 2009 will kick off on November 1, with 32 of SA’s best CoD 4 teams going head to head.
The league will run from November 1 until December 21.

November will consist of the four pool rounds, one per week. Each team will play four other teams during the pool rounds. Each match will consist of 4 rounds (12 attack and 12 defense). Teams will then be ranked after each match, with a win earning 2 points, a draw 1 point, and no points for a loss.

Leading teams will the go through to the quarter finals. Quarter final matches will consist of two maps being played, with the first team to win 13 rounds winning the map.  The same system will be used in the semi finals and finals.

Prizes will be sponsored by Intel, and more details will be published closer to the time.

The league will accommodate 32 teams. There are currently already 29 teams signed up, leaving just 3 empty slots.

Each team must consist of 5 players, as well as 2 extra reserve players.
