No PC release for upcoming Resident Evil DLC

24 November 2009

Regarding the upcoming Resident Evil Gold Edition DLC package for PS3 and Xbox 360 developer Capcom has revealed that it has no plans to do the same for PC users.

Scheduled for release on the 9th of March the Gold Edition DLC will feature a prequel mission, a new episode and two costume packs – each of which will be released as a separate downloadable package. The Xbox 360 Gold Edition contains a product code for the additional content while the PS3 version will have the content bundled onto a disk.

Despite Capcom’s generally positive PC support across its release range it appears that PC fans may be left out for now. This is not to say however that the developer may surprise this segment in a few months with an updated PC release of Resident Evil Gold Edition.
