Digital distributor Impulse has announced that throughout December it will be running $1 sales on a variety of games. The sales will not be advertised on their website, and only those with Impulse installed will be able to see them.
A “balloon notification” will appear on the Impulse toolbar as soon as a special goes live. The first game was Galactic Civilizations: Ultimate Edition which sold for $0.99, and Impulse is promising loads more as they prepare for “the 12 days of Christmas” where it plans to sell AAA games at steeply discounted prices.
In order to receive the notifications you will need to install the Impulse toolbar which is available on the main site. It is completely free and comes in the form of a 6MB download.
