Publisher bitComposer Games has announced that the third S.T.A.L.K.E.R game will be released in February 2010.
Previous S.T.A.L.K.E.R gamers have met mixed receptions. The first release was widely celebrated for its enthralling atmosphere, yet it was criticized for being badly optimized and bug ridden. The second game S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky was less well received, with gamers complaining about its difficult levels and gameplay.
Call of Pripyat will be one of the first games to utilize DirectX 11, and will pick up after the events of the first game.
