Dark Void demo hits PC

15 January 2010

A PC demo of Airtight Games’ upcoming jet pack powered shooter is now available via IGN’s FilePlanet.

The demo is listed as a FilePlanet exclusive, which means that it won’t be appearing on any other websites.

The game promises an innovative new “vertical cover system” as well as a traditional ground combat cover system, and players will be able to pilot hover packs and later on jet packs. The developer promises “Tactical freedom” meaning that players will be able to achieve objectives in various different ways.

The demo requires 1040 MB of international bandwidth to download, and users will have to register with FilePlanet in order to access it.

Dark Void is set for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on January 22.
