Sega has announced that its soon to be released Aliens vs. Predator will come shipped with Steam, and will require the game to be installed using Steam Works Integration. The publisher also announced that Napoleon: Total War will also require Steam .
On the plus side, this means that all updates, leaderboards, matchmaking and achievements will be handled automatically by Steam. Unfortunately, it also means that players will have to use Steam to play the games, which many gamers find annoying and unnecessary.
