Last week we reported that Incredible Connection had teamed up with Afrihost to sponsor a one night Call of Duty 4 competition.
The event took place on Sunday night, and team Brazen once again came out on top, although Prodigy came very close to causing an upset in the final which came down to the wire.
Top team Pantheon was absent from the competition, pulling out late to be replaced by Ichigo.
Prodigy went through to the finals, beating BFB 13-10 in the semi-final. Brazen progressed to the final with relative ease.
Prodigy took a surprising early lead in the final, closing the game 7-5 at half time. Brazen fought back hard though, managing to square the match 12-12 resulting in overtime being played. Brazen won 4-1 in overtime, resulting in a final score of 13-16.
Brazen received 5 5GB prepaid Afrihost accounts for coming first, and Prodigy received 5 3GB accounts for second place.
