Blizzard releases Warcraft III patch, eight years on

Despite having released the title almost eight years ago Blizzard has today announced the release of two patches for Warcraft III.

Although they are relatively minor the patches bring a few fixes to both the original title and its expansion pack Frozen Throne. Both of the patches are currently available on Blizzard’s support page.

“For the easiest patching process it is recommended that you connect to Battle.net. This can be done by starting the game and clicking on the Battle.net button” says the company.

Although this may sound remarkable, developers Blizzard are known for their ardent post release support. Now if only they’d release a patch introducing modern resolution options to Starcraft…
