The money-grabbing (and often dreaded, depending on your budget) Steam Sale is here.

Titled the Steam Summer getaway sale, you can expect awesome specials from 11 July to 22 July 2013.

Some of the stand-out deals for today include:

  • Bioshock Infinite @ $29.99 (-50%)
  • Left4Dead 2 @ $4.99 (-75%)
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited @ $4.99 (-75%)
  • Defiance @ $13.59 (-66%)

So head over to Steam and check out all the deals on offer.

This time around, Steam is also implementing some gameification with its trading card system, which are virtual cards earned by buying and playing games on Steam. Seeing as the Summer Sale is the game itself, it has some special rules – find out more at the trading card FAQ page.

Also remember to check out MyGaming’s weekly digital download deals, where we round up the best specials from Steam, GOG and other digital distribution store-fronts.

If you’re having trouble seeing the sale online, click on the image below for a full view of Day 1’s specials (thanks to Glordit for the screengrab).
