Last week we received our long awaited StarCraft II beta keys. This week we are pleased to announce that we have received one more key, and instead of selfishly hording it for ourselves, or pawning it on eBay for $450, we are giving it to one lucky MyGaming forum member.
The beta is in its fifth week, and our early impressions are all positive. Apart from occasionally being rigorously schooled by other beta participants preying on noobs, the games have been well balanced and enjoyable. Playing in the US beta, lag has occasionally reared its ugly head when using shaped bandwidth. Unshaped ADSL accounts have yielded the best performance results, as the game constantly pings international Battle.net servers.
