Battlefield 4 PC version goes free for a week

7 November 2014

Attention PC gamers: Battlefield 4 is free to play for one week via the Origin store.

If your PC can handle the DICE-made FPS action then head on over to the site and take advantage of the 168 hours of free game time.

You will have to download the full game first before you can get into a tank, so take that into account when planning your playing schedule.

If you enjoy your experience and decide to buy the full game, your progress will carry over – which is a nice touch.

The free Battlefield 4 week coincides with the launch of Battlefest Season 2, which gives gamers XP bonuses, additional battlepacks, and new dog tags.

No doubt the upcoming launch of Battlefield Hardline – coming in February 2015 – is also a motivating factor behind EA’s decision to let gamers have some free time with 4.

Will you give Battlefield 4 a go? Let us know in the comments and forum.
