A Twitter user may have just discovered an incredibly easy method to stop your electronics from overheating.
akinori_suzuki found that after stacking copper coins on your device, the heat would transfer from his laptop to the coins.
This is because copper is a much better conductor of heat than aluminium or plastic (the materials that make up most of today’s modern electronics).
This advice doesn’t only pertain to laptops however, as other users have taken to incorporate the idea into their desktop builds and consoles.
The method can also be tested in South Africa, as our R1 and R2 pieces consist primarily of Copper.
As a disclaimer, this is merely an observation of a twitter user, but the thermodynamic concept behind it is sound.

Ryan this isn’t even worth replying to but I thought I should, hopefully for your future benefit.
In future when you have writers block just go tell your boss. I’m sure they can help you out. In fact, I think the only reason why your boss allowed this piece to go up was for all the comments that would surely be generated by the public.
Overall this is a poor effort and I’m sorry that the MyBroadband newsletter brought me here.
