Battlefield 1 weapon and multiplayer details leaked

5 July 2016

EA blew everyone out of the water with their unveiling of Battlefield 1 earlier this year, and while we did get to see a lot of gameplay of the upcoming FPS, we don’t know too many specific details about the game itself.

However, over on Reddit, a user has posted what looks like a fairly credible list of contents for Battlefield 1. It’s speculated that the Alpha of Battlefield 1 (which recently opened) has been mined for the information.

The alleged details claim that there are six episodes of the single player campaign, each divided into chapters (up to four). There is a long list of weapons, ranging from three different Winchesters, to a Mauser, Luger, Browning and Beretta. Melee weapons include not just the shovel and hatchet, but things like a mace, club, saber and knife.

The ten multiplayer maps are named as follows:

  • MP_Amiens
  • MP_Chateau
  • MP_Desert
  • MP_FaoFortress
  • MP_Forest
  • MP_Argonne
  • MP_ItalianCoast
  • MP_MountainFort
  • MP_Scar
  • MP_Suez

There are also said to be a total of 8 game modes, with franchise staples like Rush, Conquest, Domination, and Team Deathmatch available, but also Air Superiority and Behemoth being added.

There are even more details in the original Reddit list, such as specifics on camos and gadgets, but if you want to wait find out all that Battlefield 1 has to offer, the game arrives on 21 October 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
