Here’s how many games the average PlayStation 4 gamer owns

8 December 2016

MyGaming recently reported on the news that the PlayStation 4 had passed 50 million units sold.

Following this news, PlayStation also revealed the console’s lifetime software sales with PS4 physical and digital software purchases having topped 369.6 million copies.

That means that the average PS4 owner owns around 7.4 games on average – not too bad considering new AAA titles can retail for over R1,000.

Those numbers will also no doubt rise during the remainder of the holiday system following the release of the new PS4 Slim  and Pro consoles.

Sony also recently slashed the console’s price in South Africa leading up to Christmas.
