New Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy screenshots emerge

15 February 2017

Fans have been demanding it for quite some time, and finally Sony has listened.

Everyone’s favourite bandicoot is making his return with the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, which is a collection of high-definition remasters of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, and some new screenshots for the anticipated revival have found their way to Reddit.

The trilogy adds new features across all three games (Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped), including unified checkpoints, pause menus, and save systems, including both manual and automatic saving, and time trials, which were first introduced in Warped. It also features high-definition 4K resolution and remastered audio.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is currently in development at Vicarious Visions, who are taking over remastering duties from original creators Naughty Dog.

There’s no firm release date as of yet, but the collection is said to be hitting PS4 within the 2017 calendar year.
