Sony has announced a wide variety of titles that will be available to subscribers of the new PlayStation Plus service, which includes a PS4 and PS5 catalogue and a classic games catalogue.
As we announced in March, PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now will be merged into one subscription service, and will include three tiers of subscription plans available to players.
The new Plus service is expected to launch in South Africa on 22 June 2022.
Regardless of which plan you choose, you’ll have a wide collection of titles to play – and Sony has given us an early look at the games that will be on offer.
Please note that titles may vary by market, and some titles may not be available to stream until after launch – but they will be available to download and play.
Monthly games
PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe Plans
All plans will include the current benefits of PlayStation Plus, which include access to the titles that are released every month.
While PlayStation has not released the monthly games for June, here is the list of games that are currently available for May.

Classic games catalogue
PlayStation Plus Deluxe Plan
This list includes original PlayStation and PSP classic titles, with some games having improved frame rates and higher-quality resolution compared to their original launch versions.
A select number of these games will also have a new user interface with menus that allow you to save your game at any time, or even rewind the game if you want a do-over.
Players who have previously purchased the digital version of select games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will not have to make a separate purchase or sign up to PlayStation Plus to play these titles on PS4 or PS5.

Time-Limited Game Trials
PlayStation Plus Deluxe Plan
The time-limited game trial benefit will enable you to try games before you buy.
After downloading a trial of the full game, you can play it for two hours for most games — the playtime counter only counts while you are in the game.
Any trophies and game save data from the trial period will carry forward if you purchase the game.
