Lukewarm Media has announced that the follow-up to Primal Carnage, the developers successful dino FPS, will arrive on Playstation 4.

Primal Carnage: Genesis will be the next evolutionary step for the series, and was revealed at a pre-GDC 2013 presentation.

The game will not be a port of the multiplayer PC game, which released in 2012, and will instead be a rebuilt entry, featuring a single player campaign.

The game is described as a “a story driven, episodic single player adventure that takes place in a world where dinosaurs have been brought back to life.”

The game will incorporate linear gameplay with open-world exploration from a first-person human perspective.

There is currently no release date for Primal Carnage: Genesis.
