The duration of the sale is not specified, but the site does advise you get your order in before “4pm today”.
We have seen some major PS4 price reductions in recent months, with the console starting at R6,799, moving to R6,399, then R5,999.
Kalahari made a play to entice wannabe PS4 owners into buying a console with its recent special – a standard PS4 bundle for R5,599.
With the recent hike in PlayStation Plus subscription prices – a one-year membership went from R489 to R749 – a reduction in the console’s price may make you reconsider your stance on getting a PS4.
And if you needed any further motivation (PS4 owner and fan, I must disclose), Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare runs constantly at full HD on the PS4 – on the Xbox One, not so much.
PC gamers, this is even cheaper than most mid-to-high end graphics cards. Maybe time to convert?
