Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s price is so ridiculous even PlayStation won’t sell it to you

23 June 2016

PSN won’t allow you to buy some of the more expensive Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare packages.

The current limit for a single transaction on PSN is set to R1,500 (an arguable oversight in its own right), meaning you cannot currently purchase Infinite Warfare’s Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions digitally on PlayStation 4.

When checking out, instead of being prompted for your financial details, you will see this screen:

In addition, this means South African gamers cannot buy the remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from the PlayStation Store, as it is an exclusive of these deluxe packages.

MyGaming has previously reported on Infinite Warfare’s insane pricing and how it compares to other upcoming releases.

I don’t use the term “greed” lightly. But this is an example of greed.
