Kingdom Hearts Unchained X launches this week

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is a mobile free-to-play role-playing game published by Square Enix which is set to release on 7 April 2016 for Android and iOS devices.

It is the first game in the franchise to launch on mobile devices and will follow the narrative of the previous Kingdom Hearts titles, focusing on the origins of various characters.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X will feature a storyline that will provide context for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, which will be available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The mobile game will include characters specific to the Kingdom Hearts universe, along with various Disney characters.

“I hope fans and newcomers alike will find themselves absorbed in this brand new adventure that reveals the origins of Kingdom Hearts,” said director Tetsuya Nomura.
