This Gears of War 3 Easter Egg was just discovered five years after release

Ever wondered how many Easter Eggs have just gone completely unnoticed by gamers?

It’s a thought that’s crossed our mind especially when we here stories about a recently discovered Easter Egg in Gears of War 3, five years after the games official release.

Dubbed “Locust Duck Hunt” the Easter egg was discovered by GoW TacCom can be discovered in Chapter 2’s “House of Sand” level.

The Easter Egg requires you to shoot several coins secretly hidden across the level.

Doing so will open up a whole new area and a Duck (Locust) Hunt mini game, which involves Locusts popping up from the ground and you shooting them as quickly as possible.
