Assassin’s Creed: Rogue reportedly coming to PS4, Xbox One

Assassin's Creed Rogue

While the latest instalment in the much-loved AC franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, is a brilliant entry into the series, one of the most underrated games of the bunch, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, looks to be coming to current-gen consoles shortly.

Originally released in 2014 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC only, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue offered a unique spin on the whole AC story, putting players in the boots of a Templar on the hunt for assassins. It was a surprisingly polished and enjoyable AC adventure, but was sadly overlooked due to people’s attentions being on Assassin’s Creed: Unity at the time.

Now, a number of Italian retailers have listed an HD version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue for the Xbox One and PS4 for a March 2018 release.

This wouldn’t be the most unusual thing for Ubisoft to do, as the Assassin’s Creed franchise has seen re-releases with The Ezio Trilogy bringing AC 2, Revelations and Brotherhood to the current-gen consoles with good effect.

Recently bought it on steam sale and finished it in 4k, I liked the story and was fun to have a ship again, unfortunately the old engine remains evident with the lack of modern textures.

Worst of all the terrible draw distance with popins occurring allot, would have liked to be able to increase it seeing as my 1080 Ti was idling running it at constant 60fps
