The Xbox Store revealed a new game announcement ahead of schedule by listing Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage.
The new title will be the sequel to THQ Nordic’s Destroy All Humans! (2020) and was labelled as a “standalone DLC”.
Destroy All Humans! is a franchise set in a dystopian world where gamers and their friends get to be aliens who go around various cities, terrorising those on the planet.
The Xbox Store’s listing described Clone Carnage as having four modes and six maps, including a 4-player multiplayer experience and a 2-player local split-screen.
The game will also be playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
THQ Nordic has not yet confirmed the game’s development and release for this year.
However, fans are taking the listing as undeniable proof that there is a new game in the famous open-world franchise.
This is not the first time Xbox has leaked one of THQ Nordic’s upcoming releases.
Two years ago, Xbox’s leaked the existence of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, which THQ Nordic acknowledged shortly after.
Given that this leak is similar in nature, it could mean that official confirmation from THQ Nordic will come in the coming weeks.
