Microsoft Xbox South Africa has confirmed the Games with Gold lineup for SA Xbox Live Gold members in December 2013.

Gears of War

From 1 to 15 December, you can grab Gears of War, a first-person shooter developed by Epic Games that was a hit for the console in 2006.

Gears of War is considered a classic for the Xbox 360, and was called “a masterpiece” by IGN that “more than lives up to the hype.” Can you say “vreeeeeeeem?”

Shoot Many Robots

From 16 to 30 December, you can grab Shoot Many Robots for free. Shoot many Robots is developed by Demiurge Studios and published by Ubisoft for Xbox Live Arcade.

Demiurge’s previous works include assisting Bioware with porting Mass Effect to the PC and creating multiplayer content for Bioshock.

Microsoft’s Games with Gold initiative gives Xbox Live Gold members a new free downloadable title on the 1st and 16th of every month.

“Each specially selected, fan-favourite game will be available to download only for a limited time, so grab them before they’re gone and keep them no matter what,” said Microsoft.
