Halo game confirmed for 2014

14 February 2014

During an interview with GameZone, the voice actor for Halo’s Master Chief, Steve Downes revealed that Halo 5 won’t be launching in 2014, while Halo 2 Anniversary Edition will be.

This backs up some of the leaks recently made by a purported Microsoft insider. Of course it would be fallacious to suggest this means the rest of the claims will be true: Xbox One SA launch date and many other rumours

2014 marks 10 years since Halo 2 launched on the original Xbox (and the last Halo game released for PC), and if the Halo 1 Anniversary Edition is anything to go by, we can expect a full overhaul of the game, bringing it up to Xbox 360/Xbox One standards.
