Halo Reach Review Roundup – Looks amazing

Halo: Reach is out locally tomorrow, and if you were on the fence about buying this one, then the recent slew of super high review scores may be just the thing to push you over the edge. 

The game maintains a Metacritic score of 93/100, with 12 perfect scores out of its 35 posted reviews. Our copy just arrived, so keep an eye out for our own in-depth review in the next week or so. In the meantime, here are some reviews from international sites:

But after seeing the perfect last shot of the campaign (in fact, it’s so spot-on, that Bungie community director Brian Jarrard confirms that, unlike previous titles, there’s no additional cinematic or end-scene for finishing on Legendary difficulty — everyone sees the same last scene), and playing round after round of multiplayer, I can say that while I admire and respect every previous Halo title, Reach is the Halo that I absolutely love.Read More

It’s not going to change your mind about Halo, but this special delivery for fans of the franchise is a great send-off as Bungie ends its involvement with the franchise to go work on something new.
