Microsoft has announced Xbox Design Lab, a new website that allows users to customise their ultimate controller.

In addition to over 8 million colour combinations, from triggers to back panels, you can also have your controller personally laser-engraved with your name (or Gamertag).

The controllers will be the new, updated models shipping with the Xbox One S, which means integrated Bluetooth for longer range and a new back panel.

Design Lab will start shipping worldwide in September with the website and pre-orders coming online later this month.

The custom controllers will cost $79.99 ($20 more than the standard option) with an additional $9.99 for the option to engrave.

There is no confirmation yet as to whether the controllers will be available in South Africa.
