Batman: Return to Arkham delayed indefinitely

28 June 2016

Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely, reports Game Informer.

The re-release package that contains both Arkham  Asylum and Arkham City (and all of the game’s respective DLCs) will no longer release on 26 July, as developers Virtuous Games “need more time”.

After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.

We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.  We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.

Are you disappointed with the delay? Let us know in the comments below and in our forums.

indefinitely? Sounds a bit harsh…indefinitely is more meant for a game that has been put on the backburner or delayed for a long while. This sounds like a month or three.

Will this be console exclusive or for PC too?
