Woo! Load shedding, woo!

On a side note, I see someone started a chain message on Whatsapp saying that Eskom is planning a country wide black out tonight from 8Pm till 10Pm or something along those lines, not sure how true it is though.

We had our first bout of load shedding yesterday afternoon. Power went out again at 12:00 today. Just when I had some peace and quiet on my birthday to get some gaming done... Family will be here in an hour, so no gaming for me today.

Thanks man. Yeah, kinda sucks having to sit here doing nothing right now. At least some friends booked us into a fancy hotel in for tonight as a present.

Time to dust off the old manopoly and play that. Seeing as how many blackouts we having today.

We had loadshedding from 14:00 to just before 17:00. I was at work (work in a mall) and we had to sit there in the dark and manually ring up cash sales untill the electricity came on again. Was pretty stupid, could have just gone home, but no, head office said we had to stay open.

Nope - there is no good reason why they'd do that. Plus chain messages....:rolleyes:
 
We had a full 5 hours today: 12:00 - 14:30 and 16:00 - 18:30. Luckily I got a gennie a few years ago when the excrement met the blades the first time around. But we'll rather not discuss the household fuel costs.

Oh yeah, almost forgot: we're without water again.
