Yeah its nice but unfortunatly the cargo space is more valuable if you are a trader. I've learned to plan my jumps very carefully.

Stripped about everything except the pilot seat out of my hauler to make more room for cargo.

The past two nights that's how I've been rolling. Sacrifice shields for cargo space, and on a Sidewinder nogal.
 
I've been running without shields or weapons for the last coulpe of days now. The shield compartment is used for my cargo of "freelance workers"
 
What setups are you guys running. Multiple screens, TrckIR, HOTAS or more simplistic?

Looking to get a decent(ish) joystick, but sadly can't afford the whole HOTAS system.

One screen, Thrustmaster HOTAS X and waiting for my Elite tracker.
 
Damn this shit is expensive for HOTAS - but all the other systems are out of stock.
I also wanna try it on my 46" LED HDTV

Have you looked at somethign like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro? Its a good stick for the price range an you really don't need a throttle if you are only using it for ED.

On a different note, I had my first interdiction by a player last night. I am unfortunately still in my Sidewinder and shortly before this I had just swapped out my cargo holds for shields and a scanner to do some exploring. Thankfully, cos the idiot who interdicted me was Flying an eagle with a multi-canon but no shields (for whatever reason). Thankfully I won the battle and I gave him the chance after interdiction cos I didn't have any cargo but he still fired on me. At least I walked away with a bounty collection.

To not derail the screenshot thread, what resolution you playing at Reavs?

Also, bought myself an Eagle last night and going to try my hand at some bounty hunting and assassination missions. I picked up one and have gone to the system but battling to find the person in question. Says I have to kill Gen. X. How do I find this person/NPC, just by scoping out those unknown signals ?



*Took me about an hour or so to figure out how fire groups worked.

Scan all ships in the system (target and point ship towards them until you have all the info). Also check out the Nav point in the system and the resources sites and scan any ships comming through there.

I suggest you load up a warrant scanner and Interdictor if you plan on doing more bounty hunting.

Yeah, I got a kill warrant scanner and figured out how to use that. You recon I should a FSD Interdicter as well? :confused:
