Same here. It looks awesome from what I've seen, and my mind is telling me to pre-order, but then this is the team that brought us Dead Island which (imo) was garbage. So I'm also waiting for reviews before taking the plunge, especially as it's quite an expensive gaming period the next few months.

Also, am I mistaken or not. Is the "Be the Zombie" added DLC and only available as payable DLC or via pre-order?
Does this apply to co-op then as well?

Im not actually sure... I think it will probably be available a bit later for people that haven't pre ordered, like an early access thing... Or as paid for DLC? I dono?
 
At least one positive of the delay is I can read the reviews before it becomes available here. I was itching to preorder but thankfully I hadn't yet.

I've pre-ordered at BT but obviously haven't paid anything yet. So yes, kinda agree with you there. But would I still get the pre-order goodies now that it's delayed from original release and digital release?! :P

I do tend to agree with you, and likewise iv looked at pretty much ALL the vids online, and I would have bought the game regardless, so the pre order goodies are just a bonus...

What are the pre order goodies by the way :wtf: cant believe i didnt even look at that...

Be the zombie mode is the pre-order incentive.

I'm just not sure I want to download an entire <50GB's and/or if I have the hard drive space.
(I'm actually not sure how big the download will be).
 
What I like about it is the fact that it's not heavily revolved around co-op. It's seems as though it's main focus was intended for SP with an option for co-op if you want.
I think this is why I never really got into Dead Island, it was so heavily focused on co-op that I just got bored playing solo.

If I had the money, I would have pre-ordered The Crew. From what I hear, it's not too popular amongst the masses. It's an "Okay" title.
I was just lured in by the extensive custom mods one could do - that's what I was sold on.

Going to buy Midnight Club LA: Complete Edition (PS3) instead... they look about the same. :D
