@ Stefan9 - that sucks buckets. Well, not for us of course. I'm just happy we get the better end of the stick for once... Still can't help feeling bad for the others though![]()

Hi Stefan,
I admit, I don't have a lot of info on RSA, however - we were asked to supply codes to BT Games for Memory Band and Guildmaster's Belt, so I would check with them if that helps.
I'm still putting all the info together for known retailers that are participating in this pre-order program and will put that on the forums as soon as I can wrap that up this week.

Hi Fernando.
I know you are a very busy guy. But while you are checking the info on the different regions and their ce's.ect. Could it be possible for you to try and find out whether we in South Africa get the memory band for preordering as well. I know you guys announced that everyone that preorders get it but when asking at my locally retailers everyone has a different story on whether we are getting it. I tried contacting EA first but the email contact for them at the SA store is the uk support and they told me they have no info on specific regions.
Any info would really be appreciated.
Kind regards
Stefan
UK is such a huge market for games though, why of all places would the UK get short changed?
Bt Games is as useless as ever
But thanks for the info, even though i'm not getting it through BT Games anymore![]()
I feel for them as well but they aren't quite in a helpless position. Being part of the EU has its benefits, freedom of movement for goods really does help. With the nordic countries, italy, netherlands, belgium, ect all getting the ce in english it means that if you are in the UK you could and you should order the CE from one of their retailers and not a UK retailer.
What has happened since last night announcement is basicly something like 30 UK forum users on the DAO forums have canceled their uk CE order and are going to import the game now. Basicly this is only going to harm the uninformed buyer, those who do their research will still get their CE with all the contents. This is going to hurt the UK retailers thought.
See, problem is that it's not that easy. A friend of mine in Denmark ordered from Game, but it doesn't seem like even that edition has everything. No cloth map, for example. Amazon.com won't send to Denmark either. GameStop doesn't have the PC CE any more and pretty much running out of ideas...
I don't suppose you have any suggestions?![]()

Which means you have quite some countries you could pick. I'm pretty sure some urls will come up the coming days (since the CE is rolled out now in the smaller european countries).
Just in case you missed or misunderstood the link to the Polish (Empik) shop I posted on the previous page... their prices converted to GBP (at today's rates):
CE (with metal box and cloth map) - around £43 !
shipping: around £15
Total: £58 (which is about the same price the CE costs in the rest of *without* the shipping charges)
Anyone know a cheaper link (including shipping)?
Game is a uk supplier no. Gamestop.de did have it but have apparently sold out of their CE allotment.
Guys on the DAO forums are using this polish shop, using google translator in case they don't understand polish.

Since I have already stated my opinion on UK, I won't do that here again.
To quote Mr. Melo

Rest of World (yes, incl rest of Europe, Nordic countries, Oz, etc)
- steel book (aka. metal tin), map, etc as per our page.
- English only box & docs
Which means you have quite some countries you could pick. I'm pretty sure some urls will come up the coming days (since the CE is rolled out now in the smaller european countries).
Thanks for the help
Ordered from Empik.com and I guess it's all fine, though a bit expensive and there seems to be confusion about whether I have provided a payment method or not, since it says one thing at the top of the page and another at the bottom. But I'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks again![]()
Thanks again, Stefan9
None of this nonsense makes sense to me. Why have multiple collector's editions? Why have some be cheap knock-offs of what the rest of the world get? Ugh... *mumbles* ...
DGZ: I would say the minimum you’ll get out of a single-player game is probably about 40 hours.

Which, I believe, is correct. On your first play through, if you choose to ignore most of the side quests and only focus on the critical path, you will take around 40 hours. If you choose to explore and do more, you will easily reach the 80-100 hours we have said previously.
