I have a question for the dads out there. My boy is in an educare now. They are already teaching him to write. He can almost write his name flawlessly. He gets homework and projects too. He is 3. Is it too soon for all this? I'm scared that he will grow up too quick and miss the whole point of being a kid. It's just the 2 of us and I know nothing about being a parent. I thought the educare would be the best for him but now I'm not so sure anymore.
Dude, I too am a single dad. It's not easy and no one really knows about being a parent. It just happens and you deal with it as best as you can. The fact that you lightie can write his own name is amazing at that age. My son is going on 3 next month and he can't even spell his name, still battling with color correspondence. But hey, I think he is the most clever little shit around and still amazes me with something new every day.
