The key really is to get rid of as much identifiable parts of a body as quickly as possible. Body disposal is one thing, but the destruction of bone (specifically the telltale bones like the skull, spine and pelvis) and destruction of DNA evidence is crucial. Also you might want to destroy all tools and clothing you used during the body disposal. I would also recommend you try not get too the intended victims blood or any part that could potentially link you back on any property (buildings, car, clothing, etc) that have any connection with you whatsoever.
