This is for all of those devoted to Clash of Clans. I haven't seen one yet so I figured I would start one. Here you can ask questions, post base layouts, troop combo's, pretty much any and everything clash.

If you have any questions I CAN answer them, 2 years of playing comes with a lot of (On the toilet) experience..lol

So ask away!
 
First thing, healers are now a big game changer since seeking air mines do not set them off. Great to use 20 hogs to take out defenses then send in Valks with a healer to take out everything else!

Do you have trouble saving money to reach TH9? Also between TH8 and 9 is a long phase, dont expect for anything to happen quick, however there are ways to save your money better. Where is your TH currently in location to your base? Middle or outside of it?

Middle :)

And yes, saving gold is an issue because of people attacking me then I lose about 200k gold at most.

So instead, im not bothering with TH9, just upgrading my troops and defence etc

Try this.

In most cases, people will go for your town hall. Instead of putting your TH in the middle of your base, but it on the outside of your base. Put it to where people can easily destroy it. You may be thinking, "what the hell then I lose trophies right?" You would be correct, however, 9 times out of 10 people will destroy your town hall and leave your gold and elixer alone. Also you get a 12 hour shield where people cannot attack you. This is perfect time to farm your way to the top. Go attack someone, steal their gold and elixer. They will obviously be pissed so they will revenge you. But when they come to your base and see your town hall on the outside of your base, they will most likely just attack that and not your gold. You really dont want to try and get high trophies. This does nothing because you face stronger people who will take your loot. I am lvl 96 and I like to stay right around gold III or 1300 trophies. I can reach 3000 trophies but I am trying to save loot so I can upgrade everything. Then once your base is strong, then go for trophies so you can get gems for reaching new trophie levels.

So sum this up do this:

-Put TH on outside of your base in a far corner
-Max gold and Elixer mines
-Attack when you can, but really absorb and use the 12 hour shield.

love this game, was doing really well and ipad died along with my game, now had to restart and cant tell you how frustrating that is, but do you think i can put it down - nooooooooo
 
I've been playing clash close to 2 years now. At the moment nearing the end phase of TH8, all defenses should be maxed by next week. All troops maxed except dark, taking my hogs to LvL2 and then my PEKKAS to LvL3.

I just hope I can cling onto the 5mil elixir I currently have for another week. So far so good!

What [MENTION=21525]Deadpool Elite[/MENTION] says is true. Keep your TH outside since most guys like to snipe to get trophies to get higher up.

Why dont you just contact supercell in settings, help and support , there should be the option, you can get your old base back... happened to me twice before... and they managed to get my old base back...

and see now thats the story of my life - too little knowledge, toooo late.

I already up to level 7 TH and nearly have everything upgraded to max, before i go to level 8 - so too far into my new clan to stress

Also happened to me like that... But i got my current base back cuz my old phone refused to back it up...

Could be. But connectivity issues is connectivity issues. You can't really flame a game if your connection sucks :p
