Dark Souls

BeoTeK That looks just as awesome. Loving what the indie guys are doing these days.
BeoTeK, agreed with Talentloos! Yoh, that looks like so much fun.

Takes you back to the Sega Mega Drive times... Just so much more better.

So I'm a little late to the party, but started playing Dark souls a week ago. Man what a game. Now I'm just holding out for some fans to recreate demon souls so that I don't have to buy a ps3 just to play that,

hahaha yeah, good luck waiting for that. In fact it's kinda the reason I won't sell my PS3. It's really a great game, but Dark Souls is easy in comparison. Still, a rare game to find and highly sought after imo.

Is Demon souls really that much harder- Geez, Dark souls is hard enough.

Haha

I remember borrowing DS from a buddy, I laughed at him while passing the first boss with relative ease and wondered what all the fuss was about. then i proceeded into the next area and time after time after time dying to retarded things that i either did not see coming or saw but was 2 dam slow 2 react haha.

what a great overall experience.

was super pumped to get it on PC but the port was horrible so ended up with my MS controller and kinda felt like i could be laying on the couch

I wasn't expecting an easy time, but when I got to the undead burg and still didn't have any decent weapons I came so close to quitting. I tried to parry every hit and even the most basic undead enemies were kicking my butt. But once I got the drake sword and learned about kicking, things turned around.

Just killed the dragon in the depths. He was a nasty little critter- took me a good few turns to figure that one out. Now I've just gone into Blightown, and am already hating those poison dart guys. They are so irritating!!

Man this blightown is irritating as s***!! I've spent the last hour trying to get to the first bonfire, and if I'm not poisoned I'm knocked off the edge of an extremely narrow platform. UUUURRRRGH

I wouldn't worry too much about the scaffolding and such, just get to the bottom asap. There's two bonfire in the area. There's also an interesting NPC and some great armor, have fun in that place!

Need help, just shout :)

I did not play DS2 at all, can you guys tell me if its worth it even though i did not finish number 1 ?

Firstly, Dark Souls 2 thread.

Secondly, if you don't care too much for story and lore, then sure. But there's are definately links back and forth and references that you won't understand. But hey, some people play DS just for the PvP aspect.

Thanks i appreciate that.

I think i will get DS up tonight again and see if I leave my room before morning :P

So is there any major difference with the Prepare to Die addition on PC?

This is still on my list of games to play this year
