Android Root Thread

Just in case someone was looking into reverting back to the stock ROM here is a link i found, i've not tried it yet but the mixed reviews in the comments seems to be mostly positive.

I actually did that and it worked fine. Just make sure you get the right firmware for your country. I was really loving the CM and was up to Lollipop, but I was having connection problems, probably because mt S3 mini isn't supported on the official Cyanogenmod, so I had to get an unofficial version.

Thinking I should try it again soon though.

Thanks Matt, that was one of the things i was wondering, which of the 4 SA options do you take, perhaps the vodafone one, but that might be branded or something.

As long as its official, you don't have to get your countries ROM. thats how my S4 had official (and still does) lollipop before it was meant to get it here :)

I have always had another countries' ROM On my phone, currently have Germany's 5.0.1 on my Note4.

First world countries always seems, or mostly do, get their updates first.

I have the same but its made my phone slow and battery life sucks but that could be my battery as it's 2 years old. New original battery costs around R350 [emoji16]
