The Official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread

LOL, -130%?? How does that work? They give you the game for free AND add $7.50 to your Steam wallet?
"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

I've already seen a couple of games with these pricing anomalies during this sale. Sadly, all the "buy" buttons were disabled, as ave mentioned.

I know haha. Steam often has problems during sales. I've picked up games at serious discounts before. The trick is to get there as the specials load each day - 7pm, and then check related titles. When payday 2 went on sale last year, it put payday 1 at 96% off or something stupid for a few minutes, but it seems like their system has a fail-safe if the items drops above a certain price, and then the purchase button is disabled.

Now that I've received my new mouse I'll download Last Light, probably tonight. Start playing tomorrow. :)

I might go for
The Talos Principle @ $13.95 (-66%)
Space Engineers @ $12.49 (-50%)

and will deff get Sabnautica if it ever goes lower than -10%

Gone Home really any good? I've heard great things about it, albeit a very short game and not worth the full price. But at the current -88% price, is it a bargain?

I liked it a lot but it's very short and very simplistic. Do you like walking simulators? I love them but they aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Yup, I enjoyed it very much, like Solitude said, its not an action romp, but a good story filled tons of atmosphere.

So I caved and bought:

The Talos Principle
Space Engineers

I find myself looking more into games that my son will enjoy, he is 5 atm, and I like to sit with him and play games, obviously not any aggressive stuff, we'll get to that, but both he and I like these kinds of games, loves to play Besiege with me as well. Its both fun and teaches him to think.

Next and probably final game will be Subnautica...

Any good indie games? Got $6 in my wallet atm, but if i wanting to buy xiii-2 but if i dont make $8 gna get an indie

So I got RAGE as well. Played a "trial" copy early last year, loved it and decided to not play it until I could buy it. Sadly, Homeworld Remastered is now demanding all my free time.

I have shelled out far too much already. It's all prepaid so there is no sting to come. Bought "The Talos Principle" last night and DLC too. I loved Serious Sam (all of them), so I am reasonably sure this will be just as much fun.

Waits a year for tom clancy titles to come on sale- Ubisoft's pulled ghost recon advanced warfighter 1 & 2.

why does it have to be this month.. I don't have any money left after getting my pc [emoji24] i really hope arma 3 goes for dirt cheap..

also.. any chance elite dangerous will make an appearance?

I asked and Steam delivered.. 60% off Arma 3 just pushed me over the edge :)
