Hero Siege

A thread dedicated to the game Hero Siege. It is available on Steam here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/269210/

The game is quite cheap and it is a lot of fun. It is a topdown roguelike game with RPG elements. It has a dual stick control scheme; move around with one set of keys (WASD) and attack with another set (Arrow keys). The game also supports controllers, local coop and multi-platform multiplayer. You can only attack and move in the 4 principal directions (for the most part) - if you have ever played Crimsonland or the like, the movement is similar except you can't move in skew directions (North West, South East, etc.)

It is a great game and well worth the normal $6 asking price. If you can get it on a Steam sale it is definitely worth it.
The game starts out quite difficult, but you keep all items and XP when you die and restart; you do lose all gold and relics though.

That looks like a lot of fun. I just can't buy anymore games for now though so I've added it to my wishlist.

No man Hiro! Do you have any idea how many games I have? That's the reason why I'm not buying it. :)

you sure dude ? if you plan to play it, then it shall be yours :) but if you feel your backlog is too great, then I understand.

During the Steam Summer Sale, it went to USD 1.49 a couple of time, and at that price I'd definitely recommend it. I've already put in a couple of hours, and I've got loads of other new games and too little time to play anything!

Yeah. I bought it while it was off even more and only cost $0.89.

I have put a lot of hours into it over the weekend. My main character is past level 60 already, but playing on nightmare difficulty is quite challenging.

I am really enjoying it. There is multiplayer as well, but I'm not sure if it is easy to join a friends' game or not. You also have to do port forwarding on your modem if you want to host a game. I have already done that, just not sure if it is working or not :P

Ek sal dit uit probeer die week wanneer ek nie hots of d3 nie :P

I have kind of stopped D3, now I'm playing this, some Wolfenstein: The New Order and then I'm getting into Hearthstone again as well (mainly because I can play on my phone) :D
