The official Witcher 3 thread

I'm disappointed to hear that consoles have seen a dip in performance with the new patch. I'm really happy with it considering that I'm playing on PC. I think the inventory changes were necessary and have made it so much easier to sort through everything. I haven't made use of the stash yet, but I am glad that it's there.

please tell me the books can be stacked :p

NG+ available on Xbone already, PC and PS4 should become available during the day. Can't wait to start again tonight!

How big is the patch? I'm playing on PS4 and I'm not much of an RPG fan but I'm really getting into this game now and enjoying it surprisingly. Its been slow with a deep learning curve to boot. Theres so much things to remember all at one time I'm starting to think this game was well worth the money I spent on it.

Werewolves are a walk in the park compared to these f***ers, I can promise you that. At least they don't disappear and reappear behind to just to stab you in the back; don't be surrounded, then you're properly f***ed.

Dodge-O-Rama is the name of the game.

Another question . . .

Is gwent an important part of the game or can it be ignored completely? I honestly don't get this gwent game!

Yesterday, I went walking in this new town and noticed a guy leaning against a pole (with his hand) and bent over like he was ready to barf and thought: "He must be piss-drunk out of his--" then, as I tuned the camera his name appeared: "Drunk", made for a good laugh. :D

Imlerith was one of the easiest boss fights in the game for me. That sorceror guy you fight before him, the one that summons golems, he gave me nightmares.

I think I struggled the most with that first Wild Hunt dude you fight
Spoiler: show
during the Keira Metz questline
I actually had to lower the difficulty to beat him, but it probably had something to do with the fact that I had no potions or anything when the fight started.
Spoiler: show
The fact that he regenerates his health the whole time, was also pretty kak.

Graal, who Summoned the Golems? Why can I not remember this? Was this main story line, or a side quest?

Yes, you are actually right!
Spoiler: show
He kept on getting into his bubble and regenerating while he sent minions. The longer you take, the more power he gets. I actually think he may have been more difficult that Imlerith...

Wait, sorry, I'm completely brain befuddled here. The boss I'm thinking about that I had trouble with was Caranthir- the one you fight while playing as Ciri. Ereding is the one I thought was the easiest.

I can't actually remember how the Imlerith fight was, now that I think about it.
