Are you planning to upgrade to Windows 10?

  • Nope. Not a Windows user.

So Windows 10 is just around the corner and I for one am quite excited about it. Looking forward to see what improvements it brings to gaming (if any).

What are your thoughts? Are you going to upgrade as soon as possible, or wait a bit to see what's up first?

I was thinking to wait about 3months before commiting think my father would jump faster on the bandwagon since has had many problems with his laptop and we hope going to windows 10 will sort the problem out.

Excited, I personally have not seen any previews yet as I want to see it all for myself, first hand experience.
Have the RTM since last week, but waiting for the update to be released tomorrow rather instead of formatting and reinstall.

The xbone integration is what have me the most excited.

Any idea when exactly it will be released in our timezone?

I have tried out windows 10 latest preview the insider, i think windows 10 is a game changer its just the way you imagine it to be.
but at the time it was not that perfect i just hope now its running smooth. before i install it im going to wait for a review from at-least 5 people.

Going to update my phone to 10 as soon as its available, as for my PC, i really want to upgrade straight away but history tells me to wait a bit.

Gaming PC will get it the second it can (bandwidth/cap willing), Work laptop I'll likely wait a month to not only check out stability, but also learn the tips and tricks you need in the IT world (Win+X for 8 to get "power user option" = winner!).

I will upgrade later, not on launch day. I can handle when one of two apps\games bug out, but when the whole OS bugs out, you are kinda screwed. Not suggesting there will be major bugs or whatever, but rather wait a month or two before going.

Windows Insider participants should be able to download Windows 10 from 06:00 South African time on 29 July 2015.

I guess, we who are not part of insider programmes, wil be 2nd in line for the update. So it's safe to assume during the course of tomorrow then

Surprisingly few people know of Win+x. I use it almost daily! Win+x -> a FTW!

So I take it you you use the Win key instead of clicking the Start button as well? :wtf:

Win+x yes, as I mentioned in my post. Win+x -> a opens up a command line instance in administrator mode. Very handy if you do dev work and need to use one of the maby CLI tools.

(my tongue-blowing post was made in yes, you do know that?)
