Are you planning to upgrade to Windows 10?

Watching anime it lasts me about 5/6 episodes so 1 and a half two hours. just doing random stuff it lasts about 3/4 hours

mine goes for 2-3 hours depending on what I am doing and as long as I don't do any gaming as that chows the battery.

So if you go the offline ISO route, and you don't have your Windows key, will it still work or will you need an activation key?

figured as much, but is the upgrade process going to do a in-place upgrade or is it going to reconfigure/wipe things like registry and system directories?

By default it's going to keep all your settings and apps, you can however set it to clear everything if you want.

I was going to wait until this weekend to upgrade but all this hype made me way too excited :D Managed to start the installation via teamviewer (from work) and all went well. No issues so far.. fingers crossed!

Windows 10 ISO did the trick. I'm amazed at how quick and painless the upgrade was. Didn't have to do anything except update my graphics drivers, everything else was in it's place.

Busy going the ISO route right now. Should've done it last night already, instead of wasting 20GB of precious fibre cap...

I ended up downloading the ISO twice tonight though, as I had to choose Windows 10 Home Single Language, as both my PCs are Windows 8.1 Single Language. I downloaded Windows 10 Home first time around. *sigh* At least it seems like it's doing its thing at the moment.

Anyone else excited for the launch of Windows 10? I've already signed up for it and I'm checking my Windows Update every day to see if it's ready for download. DirectX12 is going to be amazing.

MSI has launched two new websites to tell our fans about Windows 10 and why they should definitely make the upgrade.

The first one is a walk through some of the most exciting features:

http://event.msi.com/2015/windows10/en/

The second one, which is what I want to know about, talks about how Windows 10, and DirectX12, is going to improve your gaming experience:

Check out the video of FFXV running in DX12:

Well currently I am looking at a bloody screen saying downloading window 10. I love the comment feel free to keep using your pc. Mine refuses to work. The keyboard and mouse is not responding properly. It's taken an hour to get 29%

I did the ISO download and I'm now at "Upgrading Windows", where you can't do anything anymore. Just a circular progress bar and percentage indicator on screen where they prompt you to "sit back and relax". Been waiting now for more than an hour and at 60% currently... :/
