Guild Wars 2

I'm holding off on the pre-purchase purely to avoid playing in the beta's, I want a completely fresh experience come launch. :D

Did not think much of the new map to start with, but once you cover a reasonable amount of it the "strangeness" goes away ...

Yeah - I'll probably purchase after I get back home from rAge - assuming I have money left :p

I've taken a nice little break from GW for a couple of weeks - this weekend's event will be a nice chance to hop back in again.

Yeah I might be checking out out this weekend too. I've also been on a break and probably wont really get back to playing until HoT launch.

Me and my friends started a smallish guild called Pied Crows on Gunnar's Hold (not that server really means anything these days besides World vs World so you don't have to be on our server to join us). We are looking for a few more people so we can start doing guild challenges. If anyone is interested in joining us send me a whisper

My in game ID is Rhymelark.4396

I am normally online during the evening.

If you where on AG, I just might have taken you up on the offer, with my Free To Play account ...

you can still join us you just won't able to world vs world with us if we decided to do that.
WvW is where I spend most of my time :)

Got a currently lvl 67 Staff Ele on a Free To Play account that is Guild less - for when I don't want to be anonymous.

I have most of the mats, I'm probably just going to craft the precursor through the mastery.

Yeah - I'm probably going to try the mastery route for the Legend as well - I spent most of my available gold on random things the last few days, so I'm right back down to 60g odd.

All will be clear once HoT launches - I'm thinking I'm going to take it easy with the new content and not rush through it so it'll last me for a nice stretch like the base game did. I only finished story about 10 - 11 months after launch, and 100% exploration on my first character only happened about 15 or 16 months in.

I wish I had the time to play so slowly (there are too many games to play), but I need to make reasonable progress while not rushing. I will play at the same pace I did during launch - we explore everything and wont move to the next map until we 100% the one we are in.

Also I'm less than impressed with what I've seen of Dragon Hunter so I'm going to instant 80 a Revenant and play that through the new content and probably go back to maining Guardian when all is said and done. It depends how much I enjoy the Revenant.

Well my Free to Play Ele is at 62% World Map Completion at level 69.

Do pretty well running High Level areas on a low lvl character - most times.

I'm tempted to create a Rev and instant him to 80, but at the same time I hate not growing my characters naturally - I bumped my mesmer up to 80 (from about 40-ish) and I hate playing with her.

So I'll probably do the Rev the hard way, while playing the main storyline with my ele. I haven't really looked at any Specialisation yet, so it will literally be brand new to me when I log into HoT for the first time.

Instant leveling is a case of 6 of 1 and a half dozen of the other ... , learn it while leveling, or learn it while playing whatever content you want ...
