Stasis | The Game

I've put in about two hours now. It's got really good atmosphere, but some of the puzzles are a little nonsensical and require you to brute-force them by combining everything with everything. Other puzzles are really good and give you that typical "AHA" feeling when you figure them out. I really like the direction the story is taking.

I can echo the sentiment about the resolution. On my 1080p monitor it looks a bit blurry and murky and overall the graphics are a bit unpolished. The voice-acting is downright bad, but I guess acceptable for an indie game with this asking price.

Overall I'm not disappointed I bought it. Good to see a decent point 'n click come from the SA gaming scene.

Also Solitude, don't let Accept get you down. He's got some strange opinions, but mostly harmless. Broforce is one of the best platformers I've ever played.

Read the review. I'm still undecided about this game, I think I will wait until it is on sale before getting it.

In your review you mention that you've played better point and click games. I'd like to know which ones you were thinking of :)

Technically it's cheating because it differs so much from the usual adventure games but all the Telltale games are up there for me. I love them to bits.

Then there's The Cat Lady which doesn't use a mouse but is a typical point and click adventure. It was so good that there's a thread thanking the developer and I went and thanked him there too.

Two of my favourites that you can get on Steam: Syberia 1 and 2. I've played them twice just because the atmosphere is so well done. These days if I see trains I still think of Syberia.

Those are some of the ones.
