Guild Wars 2

I give up on the druid, it is a completely useless class unless you planning on raiding. The pure loss of DPS makes it a spare wheel in any other content.

Going back to my guardian, having a bow is now an amazing asset and works in all the content I have tried.

Remember you don't have to play as a druid while doing other stuff. You can just run as ranger and if you want to do healing for some content you can switch trait lines to druid at that point.

I think the specialisations were added to complement the raiding to a large degree - and it's a bonus if it works for the other content as well.

The elementalist elite spec is a lot of fun, although it relies on the ele being at the forefront of whatever combat is taking place - overloading your attunements for example, or the shouts even. The effects on a group are awesome, although I usually end up dead as a result xD

That being said, I've really only messed around on it a bit, so you should hardly take my word for it.

So raids are being dropped in today, anyone planning to try them out? As an aside I finally finished my legendary on the weekend, making Bolt was really really REALLY expensive. :D

Funnily enough, I've barely touched the new content - so I don't think I'm anywhere near the raids yet. I've been spending my time gathering the materials to craft my precursor (all those friggin spiritwood planks T_T) - and I've pretty much only really been playing on weekends.

New Content

Building Guild Hall has taken a great deal of my time and resouces. Just the Arena needs completion, PvP potions and Ley Line Sparks, niether can be bought :(

Did first Raid attempt, challenging yes, timeing and team work required - Dulfy guide reccomended.

Flax farming is becoming less rewarding.

Got a lvl 80 Revenant with lvl 20 gear farming flax - undecided what build to give it. Must start collecting funds to equip it when I decide.

Doesn't sound like too much fun.
