Morning mate, hope you have a great day! Been reading some of the posts about how tired people are feeling at this early stage of the year. I can relate as a there is a lot of negative news around drought, economy struggling, racism. At times it feels overwhelming.
 
Hi everyone. Nearly got killed by a putco bus this morning. Bastard decided that the perfect time to go into to second to last lane from a dead standstill (behind a broken down truck) is when I'm right next to it! :eek: Thankfully the folks in the fast lane all managed to move over a little as I get shoved into their lane..

Eish. Those Putco buses are the worst. A friend of mine's car was smashed into by a Putco bus a couple of years back. The bus didn't come to a stop in time and went straight into the back of my friend's car. I'm glad that you are alright.

Urgh. I hope your friend came out alright? These buses are awful, and I feel so bad for the people that have no choice but to commute with them. But I've lost count of the number of times I've found buses driving in the fast lane on the N1 here, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah he was fine and he bought a new car afterward.

Here by me there's a Putco bus that stops about 200m before the bus stop, just in the road. I don't understand why it doesn't just go to the designated bus stop that's out of the way. Even the people don't wait at the bus stop. They wait at this spot 200m or so before the stop.
 
When taxi drivers graduate they drive for Putco. Their mentality doesn't change though...

Anyway, hopefully floors will be in today, as we have to move back in tonight. Busy unpacking and shuffling things around the decidedly chaotic house.
 
Morning everyone.

Had a truck pull out in front of me suddenly just when I wanted to overtake. Stayed in the lane a bit and was forced to pull out suddenly as well. There was a "scrap metal" taxi that intermittently moved forward.

Couldnt switch my brain off last night. Only fell asleep after 3am...

So tired and moerig.


Even after a 3 shot esspresso coffee.
 
You know what's fun: having your laptop, with all of your at the moment unsaved reports and presentations Blue Screen 1 minute before a meeting with 4 execs of a multi billion rand company.... That is REALLY fun.
