I sure as shit hope not. I genuinely hope they aren't using the MP as an advertising platform and pitching it as such. Don't get me wrong, it's cool AF but I am wanting more from the SP aspect.

No, I'm not saying that. I'm generalising that this is the crux of being in the "Master Race" as you put it. It sucks, I know it just as well as anyone else. But it is what it is, the price we pay for it. Unfortunately it is the way of the mainstream, if you can't keep up get out. This is what makes consoles so much more appealing.

Well it is the truth, don't take it personally. It's the sad cold truth about PC gaming, it's unfortunate but it's the way it is.

Technology will continue to move forward, the developers and markets couldn't care about the end users and the cost impact, they just want progress. And if you want to progress with it, be prepared to pay the price, whether it be now or further down the line.

As great as it would be to have the MP again. I just love the homage to and authenticity of the original Doom this iteration has. One of the best sequels I am seeing, the way they capturing the sense of original Doom in a more realised world and updated models etc yet maintaining the originality is just wonderful.

I do still wish to upgrade to an i5, but at this time, it won't be happening.

Admittedly, I can feel my CPU lacking, becomes noticeable in some games.
