Good morning everyone. Short week for many, and some much needed off time for me. Today is my official gaming day, as I'm on leave for the rest of this week.

So Rage was ok. I was only there for maybe an hour walking through the stalls. Got two new lego minifigs (superman and batman) to add to my collection, a tshirt and a nice 1up cup.

thats awesome, which stall sold the lego mini figs? i was looking for those to do boutonnieres for the groomsmen for the wedding but had to settle on something else...

Hey, I was rather dissapointed. We did go, I am going to say honestly I am happy I wont free tickets. Because the price of admition for what was there, just not worth it. Not much hardware on show, not much at the stalls, I didnt see anything that I had to have, except I did find an amazing artist. Going to commission some work from her as soon as I can afford it.

Otherwise, it was smaller than expected as well as way to little on display - obviously nothing new to tease us with, the games that was there, most of us have seen or played already. So I didnt even bother to play anything. I was really dissapointed with our indie developers, not one wanted to show up, I do know there was some other bigger event else where that was more important.

Overall the feeling is meh, I wont bother with rage in cape town again. EGE is doing more for us than rAge did - they are at least trying to bring in people. Rage felt like a last minute event.

There's that one guy who loves doing things like that. He's got a thread about exercise or healthiness or something somewhere in Off Topic. Maybe he will be able to help you. I'll go see if I can find the thread.
